Bside U for Life
Bside U for Life is a local pro-life pregnancy center that counsels and equips women and men in unplanned pregnancies. We partner with them in a variety of ways from praying for their work to providing financial and material resources that they are able to use to minister to their patients.
Life Team
We have a trained group of men and women who serve as Life Disciples. This team ministers to men and women who are facing an unplanned pregnancy. We provide Biblical counsel on the importance of life, marriage, parenting, and above all, how to have a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Love Packages
Love Packages is a ministry that collects new and used Bibles, Sunday School literature, Christian books, tracts, etc., and sends the materials all over the world to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to disciple the local church. At Beechmont, we collect materials and send them to Love Packages for them to disseminate to the nations. This is one way we seek to accomplish the Great Commission right from Louisville.
Operation Christmas Child
Another way we seek to fulfill the Great Commission is to participate in Operation Christmas Child (OCC). OCC sends boxes of Christmas gifts to needy children all over the world. The leaders, in turn, have opportunities to present Christ to the children and disciple any whom God saves through the message of the Gospel. OCC season at Beechmont begins in October and lasts for about a month, as we collect items and box them for shipment all around the world.
Vacation Bible School
Each summer, we reach out to the children of our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through a week-long Vacation Bible School. This summer we taught them the importance of standing on the truth of the Word of God and equipping themselves with God’s armor as outlined in Ephesians 6. We did this through the Keepers of the Kingdom VBS material created by Answers in Genesis.
